Loyola University Maryland freshman Uchechukwu Emili has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's Women's Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday.

A contingent of Loyola University Maryland sprinters and field-event competitors opened the 2012-2013 indoor track and field season Friday at the Lehigh Season-Opener.
